Olive and Khaki Shadows and Bases

I did a (albeit subtle) khaki/olive/gold eye look Monday, thought I'd dig through my eye products for shadows that fall under that category.  I have quite a few emerald and deeper greens, but not a lot I would consider olive.  And those that may technically be considered olive aren't even remotely green in my book!  Khaki also seems to be that cool green toned gold shade which I do like, but isn't terribly flattering on my skintone.

Left to right clockwise:

  • Boots No 7 Stay Perfect Eye Mousse - Khaki
  • MAC - Sumptuous Olive
  • e.l.f. Cream Liner - Metallic Olive
  • theBalm Shady Lady Vol 1 - All About Alex

And here they are swatched, Sumptuous Olive comes out as warm toned bronze gold maybe - not exactly what I'd consider olive - and it definitely comes off more greenish in the pan.  But like MAC Woodwinked, things go very warm and orange on me so this isn't too much of a surprise.

Of the four, I think the Boots cream shadow is the most green on me, the gold is more yellow and leans green.
